Ferro

Pascal Joseph de Ferro, as city physicist, introduced the modern ambulance and rescue service in Vienna. Socially relevant is also our White Flag Coffee. Under this name, an aid project was founded during Corona to support the Guatemalan people by selling the beans directly to roasters like us in Europe. The coffee, tastes wonderful cinnamon notes, chocolate and caramel.

GROWTH HEIGHT

Our coffee beans like it airy and with a beautiful view. They thrive particularly well in the highlands of Latin America. Ferro feels best at 1500-1600m above sea level.

Bean Type

At Cottage Rosters, only Arabica beans are roasted. This ensures a high flavor variety with extremely fine flavors – from slightly sweet to fruity to powerfully spicy and chocolaty.

Origin

Ferro comes from Antigua in Guatemala.

Processing

Washed, so a washed preparation of the beans and then roasted as single origin.

Farm/Coopeartive

For Ferro, we source our beans from Finca Gascon. They are transported in airtight “Specialty Coffee” bags up to a maximum of 60 kilograms. Bulk goods from loose container fill are a no-go for us.

Characteristic

Caramel, chocolate, cinnamon: this is what best applies to Ferro. Best to try for yourself right away.

Roasted for

Our roasts are ideal for mocha, espresso and fully automatic. So you can enjoy our blends everywhere – in the office, at home and in (almost) all Diglas coffee houses.
